Henderson County Public Schools need volunteers to ready schoolgrounds for the upcoming year.

Day of Action mobilizes community volunteers to work on service projects that assist Henderson County Public Schools (HCPS) in preparing for the new academic year. The day of activity is scheduled in early August before students return to classes. Volunteers have the opportunity to contribute a morning of work on the campuses to help maintain outdoor landscape maintenance projects. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate. The 2025 Day of Action information will be published in the early summer.
