United Way of Henderson County is organizing and mobilizing on a whole new level, bringing together mountains of supplies, volunteers from far and wide, decades pf partnerships and collaborations, and a steady stream of funding to support local agencies on the front lines of recovery.
 
Our Response
Nonprofits provide critical services in Henderson County and are needed now more than ever. Together we are supporting the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of our community and playing a pivotal role in the Hurricane Helene emergency response.

Along with our community we are helping provide a variety of community support including:

  • Access to healthy food and meals
  • Rent and utilities assistance
  • Free legal care to assist with FEMA applications and
  • prevent unlawful eviction
  • Crisis and domestic violence shelter support
  • Disaster clear up, mucking, and housing repair

From home repair, to rent and utility assistance, to free legal aid to prevent unlawful evictions and assist with FEMA applications.
