Ways You Can Give
One Gift . . . Many Ways to Give
United Way of Henderson County funds 44 local programs administered through 26 human service agencies. Your contribution stays in Henderson County, so your gift helps those in our community who are in need.
Check or Credit Card
One check or credit card donation to United Way each year can take care of all your charitable donations to 26 agencies.
Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities can be deducted at their full market value from your adjusted gross income. Such gifts also avoid the liability for capital gains tax, thus providing you with a double tax benefit. Check with your tax advisor to know what your tax benefits will be.

Suggested giving levels are $300 the first year, $600 the second year, and $1,000 the third year and beyond. However, members are encouraged to pick a path that works for them.
