The Day of Caring is a time when our community comes together to better the lives of others.  UWHC coordinates more than 200 volunteers from banks, manufacturers, hospitals, schools, and government as they give their time to work on projects for area nonprofit agencies and their clients.  It is scheduled immediately following the 2010 Kick-Off Event.

If you are interested in participating as a volunteer or if your favorite agency needs a day of help sprucing up its facility, delivering meals, having mentors for a day, sewing pillows, fixing up a homebound person's home or lawn, or other needs, UWHC will have a team of volunteers to help you.

Volunteer registration will being on August 17, 2010.
